How much do movers cost per hour?

Our flat hourly rates start at $89/hr for a two-mover crew, $129/hr for three, and $169/hr for four. There's a 2-hour minimum. No fuel surcharge, no stair fee, no truck rental upcharge.

Is there a minimum booking?

Yes — every job has a 2-hour minimum. After that, we bill in 15-minute increments so you only pay for the time we're actually working.

Do you bring a truck?

We're a labor-only moving company by default — we load, unload, and lift. If you need a truck, we can drive your rental (U-Haul, Penske, Budget, POD) for a flat $0.50/mile.

Can you move pianos, safes, and other heavy items?

Yes. We handle uprights, baby grands, gun safes up to ~1,200 lbs, pool tables, hot tubs, and other specialty items with proper straps, dollies, and rigging.

How much does appliance haul-away cost?

Accepted Answer

Washers, dryers, and dishwashers run $75–$100, stoves $75–$125, refrigerators $100–$150, and large or heavy fridges $125–$175. Hauling multiple appliances? Each additional item is just $50–$100.

Does haul-away include stairs? Is there a stair fee?

Yes — carrying an appliance up or down stairs is always included in the flat per-item price. We never charge a stair fee, even for basement or upper-floor walk-ups. Tight doorways and tight turns are covered too.

Will you disconnect my appliance before hauling it away?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Disconnecting from water, gas, and electric is included. We safely shut off and unhook standard residential appliances. If your unit is hard-wired, gas-piped, or built into custom cabinetry, tell us at booking so we bring the right tools — minor built-in modification isn't included.

Is packing or wrapping included with haul-away?

No — haul-away is removal and disposal only, not a packing service. We protect your floors and walls during carry-out, but we don't pack or wrap belongings. Need items packed for a move? Book our moving labor crew instead.

Are disposal and recycling fees included?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Responsible disposal and recycling are included in the listed per-item price for standard appliances. For unusual bulk (e.g. a full estate clean-out), dump fees are passed through at our exact cost with no markup — we'll show you the receipt.

What's NOT included in haul-away?

Accepted Answer

Packing/wrapping, reconnecting a new appliance, modifying built-in cabinetry, hazardous-material handling, and marked-up dump fees. Stairs and standard disposal are always included. If something's unclear, ask at booking and we'll confirm the exact scope upfront.
